Man made diamonds are the next big thing in the jewelry world gaining ever-increasing value in all aspects. An important feature of lab-shaped diamonds is its ability to be found in all seasons as they are produced in laboratories that do not require a specific area to grow. Labs also have the ability to produce type A diamonds by hand. Type II diamonds A diamond is suitable as a high class of diamonds; Cullinan, Kohinoor and Lesedi La Rona to name a few. Men made Diamonds are of different types; though, they have not yet been able to replicate all the natural diamonds.
There are two main types of lab-shaped diamonds, let’s take a look at them and the subtypes:
The same diamonds
The same diamonds are closer to representing natural diamonds, the difference is almost invisible to the naked eye. The same diamonds are chemically and physically different from mined diamonds. These diamonds are made of other materials and are not made from scratch. They were first made in the 1970s instead of natural diamonds during the Victorian era. Cut glass, zircon and white sapphires are used to make diamonds grow in the lab.
Diamond Nexus Stimulants
These diamonds are produced with carbon mixed with additional ingredients. These stimulants have a three-time life expectancy due to their extreme durability.
Cubic Zirconia Stimulants
These diamonds are produced in zirconium dioxide. They are a very durable type of renewable diamond, and come at a very low price.
Mossianite Lab has created gemstones
These stones are bonded with silicon carbide. Mossianite is a very powerful stimulant and this adds to its value, which is also very high. Mossianite has a unique look as it is a gemstone.
Diamonds are built
Enlarged diamonds are created from scratch and are located in an environment that represents nature in diamond mines. These diamonds are planted in a lab and have the same physical and chemical properties as natural diamonds. These diamonds are specially marked with a genuine identification number, so that they cannot be used for resale or insurance purposes. These diamonds are created in two ways, mentioned below.
High-temperature diamonds are made in a similar environment that allows for the production of mined diamonds. There are three main printing designs used to provide the pressure and temperature needed to produce synthetic diamonds. They are: cubic press, split-sphere press and belt press. Diamond seeds are placed under a printing press.
Diamonds are enriched with a mixture of hydrocarbon gas in the form of chemical reactions. This approach is considered the most suitable option for industrial applications, flexibility and simplicity of process. This is the reason why it has gained popularity in laboratory research. HPHT remains a popular process for mass production of diamond crystals. The growth of CVD diamonds allows growth to occur over a variety of substrates and large areas. It also improves chemical pollution control.
To summarize, there are two main divisions of lab-magnified diamonds that include an umbrella of several other types of man made diamonds. Even after being manufactured in a laboratory-produced area the diamonds hold a quality similar to that of diamonds mined!
